Bellringing
Our ringers have a tower of their own and a talent for finding hot tubs on holiday.
The Armitage Bridge ringers ring for services, special occasions and the occasional peal. This summer they rang a full peal to mark England's best World Cup finish since 1966, visited six towers in the Peak District, and spent a week in Norfolk and Suffolk on their annual tour. A week of ringing, boat trips on the Broads and a steam railway journey rounded things off, and the handbell quarter peal was a first for the Armitage Bridge handbells.
We're hoping to ring in the New Year with our bellringers at a church party on 31 December. Details to follow.
