Eighty-five people from across our community came together to listen to nine expert briefings and to talk about how we can make a difference, individually and together. The information on the state of our ecosystems and weather was challenging and sobering. What was also clear is that the solutions are out there, and it's in our power to act.
In the sermon series that followed we leaned into the idea that we have a voice and a choice. We can speak up to local and national government, we can be advocates for nature alongside local and national organisations, and we can change how we live, shop and work, so we tread lighter on this good earth. It might cost us a little more, but it will cost the earth a lot less.
