The story of Ruth is one of unconditional love, care and generosity. Ruth, her mother-in-law Naomi and their kinsman Boaz all show these qualities in word and deed, a reflection of the abundant grace of the God who loves us beyond measure.
As we carry on giving thanks after our Harvest celebrations, perhaps we could look at how our own thoughts and actions share that generosity with the people around us.
